Volunteer Opportunities
It takes a village to elect a councilor...or at least a plurality of the district. Below are a few things you can do to help support my campaign. If you see one you'd like to help with, email me. (Short on time? Make a donation instead.)
THINGS YOU CAN DO NOW
- Pick up a sign and display it in your window or front yard*
- Take 5 signs and get your friends to put them up at their homes or on their private property*
- Share my website with other District One voters
- Forward my blog posts to your friends and family—especially those living in District One
* Signs aren't allowed in the public way until September 25, 2018.
THINGS YOU CAN DO IN JULY & AUGUST
- Sign my nomination papers to get my name on the ballot. I can begin collecting signatures July 2, 2018, and I'll be collecting 125. (I need 75 valid, registered, District One voters, but I like to build in a cushion.)
- Organize a gathering of ten or more of your favorite District One voters and invite me so I can meet everyone and have a chance to earn their votes in November.
- Help paint signs and affix "Re-Elect" stickers to the signs I'm re-using from my last campaign.
- All of the "THINGS YOU CAN DO NOW" items above.
THINGS YOU CAN DO IN SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER
- Help place signs in the public way beginning September 25th.
- Phone bank with me. True, many people don't answer calls from unknown numbers, but for others, a phone call is still the best way to connect with a candidate. So, yes, we will phone bank...but we will work very hard not to be annoying about it. Please be kind if we call you.

THINGS YOU CAN DO IN NOVEMBER
- Greet people at the polls.
- Bring refreshments to greeters on Election Day.
- And the big one:
